The College of Education at West Virginia University was established in 1926. Records from the West Virginia University College
of Education from 1930 to 1959 (bulk 1930-1932) pertain to both the school's graduate council and the College of Education.
Materials include letters from the College of Education and typed meeting minutes for the Graduate Council from 1930 to 1932.
Topics of these both sets of documents include the organization of the graduate school and issues specific to education: faculty,
summer school, grading, bulletins, regulations, facilities, and courses. Collection also includes a few items related to elementary
science fairs in the mid-1950s.
