Abstract
Twelve postal record books for Rush Run and Brooklyn, West Virginia, in the New River Valley. Postmaster account books contain records of stock, such as stamps and envelopes sold; receipts to the post office and mail carriers; and payments made by the post office. There are quarterly as well as daily total accounts. Books from Brooklyn date from 1939 to 1941; books from Rush Run date from 1927 to 1935 and from 1938 to 1940. Also includes registers of money orders issued. Brooklyn register dates from 1939 to 1942 and Rush Run registers date from 1924 to 1965 and 1936 to 1940.
