Abstract
Nineteen photographs and negatives for the engravings that appeared in a book about Camp Anderson. (See: Shelter. Civil War
Literature, p.106, entry no. 682.) The engravings were sketched from nature and drawn on stone by J.N. Roesler, and printed
by Ehrgott, Forbriger and Company, Cincinnati. The scenes are of Civil War activities at Camp Anderson and in the area adjacent
to the New and Gauley Rivers.
