Biographical / Historical

Dr. Andrew Clark contributed funds to establish the hospital in the 1920s, as did US Senator Johnson Camden who donated his home. Dr. Andrew Clark is a descendant of the Dr. Clark who owned the medical kit found in this collection. Dr. Clark practiced from 1852-1902.

Scope and Contents

Artifacts related to the history of Camden Clark Hospital of Parkersburg, including several nurse's caps, artifacts belonging to nurses Elizabeth Davey and Blanche Woodward, medical devices, and photographs.
