Imprint from distributor's website. The Rare Book Room copy is numbered 12 of 50. The copy includes artist's inscription on back of postcard: Hello and greetings from America; my name is James Leonard, and every so often I write one of these postcards; I designed this card in the wake of the 2004 elections, a divisive time in these united states; at the time it felt like hyperbole; but just two nights ago actual Nazis were here in NYC, beating people up; things have gotten pretty extreme as of late; like many Americans I am often scared of where we are going and the outright evil spreading through the land, coming boldly to the surface; I hope it's not too late to find our way back to sanity; yours truly, Jim.
