Biographical Note
Marion Clifford Harrison (1893-1967), born in Petersburg, Virginia, was a graduate of University of Virginia and a professor and the head of the english department at VPI. He was married to Theresa Nash Harrison (1902-1988) from 1924-1967. Theresa Nash Harrison, born in Danville, Virginia, was the offical carilloneau for the carillon inside Burrus Hall and composed music as well. They were both residents of Blacksburg, Virginia.
