Biographical / Historical

Jesse Berry (1861-1945) was a native of Pleasant Hill, Ohio. He developed and early interest in training animals and traveled the country displaying his skills. In 1905, he returned to his hometown and founded the Beery School of Horsemanship to teach his methods of horse training through correspondence and publications such as "Professor Beery's Illustrated Course in Horse Training". The school also sold equipment such as bridles. Beery's works regarding horse training continued to be re-published even after his death.

Publications regarding horse training and animal breeding published by the Beery School of Horsemanship, which was founded by horse trainer Jesse Berry as a correspondence school in 1905. Also contains publications regarding livestock and agriculture, and other miscellaneous material.
