Abstract
Bound typescript report regarding public health conditions in Clarksburg, West Virginia, completed ca. 1940. Contents include
a brief history of the city and an overview of current health and safety related infrastructure. Topics discussed include
availability of clean water and current sewer conditions, the fire department, and medical facilities for infant care, tuberculosis,
and venereal diseases. Photographs and newspaper clippings have been pasted into the typescript. Subjects of photographs include
scenes of Clarksburg; buildings discussed by typescript; and doctors, nurses, and patients.
