Scope and Content
This material includes 8 items, consisting of bible records, 1765-1912, for the Crissey , Colon , and Moser families. The Crissey family records include an entry for the marriage of Ethel Crissey to Francis Lewis Berkeley on April 5, 1905. Also included is the gilt decorated leather board front cover, engraved "To My Father & Mother John & Charlotte Crissey Christmas 1847." There is also a document on the dedication of the Church of St. John the Evangelist stating that the corner stone was laid by Joseph Marshall on October 1, 1845. Two ribbons with cross designs, probably used as bookmarks in Bibles, are also included.
