Scope and Content Information
This collection consists of a single bound volume, 179 pages, 1868-1870, labelled "Callaway and Willis Duplicate Letter Book No. 1," a business located in Gogginsville, Franklin County, Virginia. The letters are chiefly concerned with the buying and selling of general merchandise and produce, shipped by rail to Big Lick (now Roanoke) via the Virginia and Tennessee Railroad.
