Scope and Content Information
This collection consists of a two page autograph letter, October 15, 1838, from Henry Stokes, University of Virginia student, to his father, Colin Stokes, [Sound] Hill Post Office, Lunenburg County, Virginia, requesting his father to send the money for subscriptions to The Collegian as soon as possible, emphasizing the degree that he is pressed for time and inquiring about his family and friends.
