Scope and Content Information
This letter calls Howells's attention to a new book, [ La Madre Naturaleza ], by Mme. Emilia Pardo Bazan. Discusses Mme. Bazan and the country of Spain being "on the whole a sad one, in spite of the individual flickerings." Plans to be in Paris, France, the following month.
