Scope and Content Information
These 33 items, ca. 1910, n.d., relate to the genealogy of the Kean and Vaughn families of Virginia, and consist of correspondence, manuscript histories, charts and lists, and newspaper clippings. Specific items include: a six-page manuscript on the Vaughn family history tracing the line back to Nicholas Meriwether of Wales; "Genealogy of the Keans," a family tree "copied from Record kept by Hannah Darst"; and newspaper clippings of obituaries of members of the Kean, Vaughn, and related families.
