This collection was given to the library on January 6,
1987.
The collection consists of the manuscripts for Bowles'
"Richmond correspondent." Almost all discuss Virginia politics
although national concerns are mentioned occasionally.
Gubernatorial and United States senatorial elections and
candidates, party politics, and issues before the General
Assembly are the chief topics.
