Scope and Content Information
This addition to the John Erb Papers consists of 393 items, 1964-1983, and records John Erb's activities in the Libertarian party. Included in the collection are correspodnece, manuscripts, meeting announcements, various Libertarian Party newsletters, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous notes, and two photographs of John Northrup, New York Libertarian party gubernatorial candidate. Erb's correspondence is primarily with publishers regarding the publication of his two manuscripts, "The Tail That Ate the Dog" and "The Un-Political and Other Essays," with members of the Libertarian Party and other political figures regarding party policies, and with newspapers regarding articles and editorials. Included in the newspaper clippings are numerous published letters to the editor by Erb regarding libertarianism.
