Scope and Content Information

The collection contains electrostatic copies of the original manuscript of the full score of his Concerto for Two Pianos, Winds & Percussion, and letters to Peter Garland chiefly concerning the publication of the Concerto but also discussing the sale of his manuscripts to the University of Virginia, music for Bernardo Bertolucci's The Sheltering Sky, censorship by Moroccan customs, a suggested publication of his selected instrumental works, and his health.
