Scope and Content

This collection consists of a Russian color lithograph poster, ca. 1917-1924, depicting a man standing proudly, with a large banner in hand, promoting Petrograd for Finland , as an inspiration for people of the Soviet Union to fight for unification with the people of Finland . Several other banners are shown in the background, including one with the Marxist quote, "Working People of All Countries are Uniting." The propaganda poster measures 30 x 44 inches and is backed with canvass.
