These 217 items, 1961-1989, pertaining to the Virginia Philosophical Association include correspondence, memoranda, minutes, programs, membership lists, and related papers. One group of papers, 1961-1988, was compiled by P. Allan Carlsson , Professor of Philosophy and Associate Dean for Administration at Virginia Military Institute; the other group, 1976-1989, was compiled by Peter Heath , Professor of Philosophy at the University of Virginia.
