This collection was a gift to the Library on March 3, 1987, by the Thomas Jefferson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution through Mr. Thomas Mason, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Scope and Content
This collection consists of 138 items, 1977-1986, pertaining to the Thomas Jefferson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution . Included are correspondence, business records, membership records, chapter documents; and a notebook of meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, treasurer's reports, etc., kept by the Recording Secretary of the Chapter.
There is correspondence of the officers of the Chapter, including Ralph A. Hall , J. Lawrence Meem, Jr. , R. Kendall North , and Homer G. Richey . Business records include invoices and treasurer's reports; membership records include payment of dues, lists of members, and transmittals. There are also copies of the constitution and by-laws as well as guidelines for trustees.
