This collection was donated to the Library on August 13, 1986, by Mrs. Linton R. Massey of Keswick, Virginia.

Scope and Content Information

This material, 1959 & 1975-1985, consists of 28 items chiefly pertaining to the Association's operation of Stratford Hall Plantation, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Included are carbon copies of letters from Mrs. Leslie Cheek, Jr., President of the Association's Board of Directors, to various individuals inviting them to speak at the dedication of the Jessie Ball duPont Memorial Library in October 1980. Material concerning Stratford Hall Plantation includes accessions and appraisals of property for 1980-1981 and printed newsletters, programs, and price lists for 1959 and 1975-1985. There are also schedules of the Association's 51st and 52nd Spring Conferences of Committees during 1980-1981 and the 52nd, 53rd, and 55th Annual Councils during 1980-1983.
