Scope and Content Information
This collection consists of four items concerning Julien Green, including a Christmas letter written in French from several French friends, Poitiers, France, December 15, 1966, to Mr. and Mrs. Fillmore Norfleet, Charlottesville, Virginia, containing personal and family news and praising Fillmore Norfleet's new book. Enclosed with the letter are three newsclippings (in French) about Green being awarded Le Grand Prix National Des Lettres. One of these articles, "A Julien Green, Le Grand Prix National Des Lettres", was written by Gilbert Ganne. Also present is a translation of the letter and the three newsclippings.
