This letter was given to the Library by Ms. Kate McNally of Northwood, New Hampshire, on January 23, 1992.
Scope and Content Information
This letter, dated August 22, [1899], written by Alice [Davis White], The Triangle, to Lucy Minor Davis at the University of Virginia, concerns the past Sunday's excursions, a social event at which Mrs. Arthur Chichester "was the amusement of the evening," and domestic and family illnesses and other news. The autograph letter is six pages on six leaves and includes the envelope.
