John Warner was a United States Senator from Virginia.
Scope and Content Information
The collection contains clippings of news stories and editorials mostly from Warner's campaign against Edythe Harrison with about 100 items of correspondence, chiefly by staff press aides.
Topics include arms control, avian flu, the Chesapeake Bay, coal mining and shipping and the coal slurry pipeline, defense, the appointment of judges, a Middle Eastern trip, Newport News shipyard, the Republican National Convention, the Virginia Gubernatorial election, the Virginia Congressional delegation, Charles Robb and Paul Trible.
