In a letter, 1929 April 18, Anne O'Hare McCormick, Washington D.C., writes to Robert Underwood Johnson acknowledging his invitations and sending her husband's regrets. In a letter, 1929 May 2, McCormick writes to Johnson expressing her gratitude for being invited to the 25th Anniversary dinner of the Academy of Arts & Letters and stating her opinions on Herbert Hoover.
