Scope and Content Information

The collection contains a poem, "Sonnet," by Henry Beck Hirst dedicated to Robert Morris of Philadelphia. In an accompanying letter to Morris, Hirst expresses his admiration and friendship. There is also a letter to Rufus Wilmot Griswold discussing the publication of some poems.
