Scope and Content Information
In this letter to J.L. Edwards, Prosper Montgomery Wetmore replies to previous letters from Edwards re Navy Pension Agency business: explains that he paid John Garrick, a pensioner, through July 1 and closed his account at the New York agency; discusses receiving some funds that had been delayed, says that he reported the delay to the proper department, and promises to check on the pensions of Adams, Hamilton, and Lervis.
