Scope and Content Information

The collection contains the manuscript of a poem "The Obliterated Door."

In addition, in letters to Mrs. A.M. Collins, Sigourney extends her sympathy for a recent affliction, thanks her for flowers and a book, explains the writing of the above poem, and inquires about a literary society rule. In an undated letter to a Mrs. Talcott she extends an invitation.
