Scope and Content Information
The collection contains four letters to John S. Van E. Kohn regarding first editions of Stuart's work and a letter to George Stevens of the Saturday Review of Literature regarding the copyright status of a poem "Sandy Waters" which Sydney King Russell has set to music, Nelson Eddy has sung and Schirmer is publishing.

Speaks fondly of the late John Wilson Townsend and his love of books; mentions several of his early books, out of print, which have become collectors' items and are quite expensive; sends Pegasus Magazine.
Sends a reproduction of Harvest of Youth which has become a scare item; says he wrote the poems while in high school, working at steel mills an in Army barracks; explains that it was published in 1930, the year after he finished college.
Discusses his out of print, sought after, early books; says he will try to find another cop of The Year of My Rebirth
