Scope and Content Information
There are six groups of releases, for the weeks of November 7, 14, 21, and 28, and December 5, and 12, 1910, from the "Abe Martin" Series furnished exclusively by the Adams Newspaper Service. Frank McKinney Hubbard, caricaturist and paragrapher for the Indianapolis News since 1891, was the author of "Abe Martin's Sayings," syndicated widely and published in book form annually. The releases refer to such characters as Mr. and Mrs. Milford Moots, Lafe Bud, Milt and Lib Pash, and Constable Plum and his daughter.
