Scope and Content Information
The papers contain a one page description of "Ship of Fools" signed by Porter; a section of the novel as it appeared in "Mademoiselle" with brief revisions by Porter; a tearsheet of proof from "Mademoiselle" with two autograph revisions and notes by Porter, and a note from Cyrilly Abels; and the covering envelope for the above addressed to Floyd Stovall.
