Scope and Content Information
This collection of papers of Bertha Gray Robinson consists of 300 items. Editorial papers of Robinson include correspondence regarding the Orange Observer , 1880-1936, and subscription accounts, addresses, and lists. Family correspondence of John Jones Robinson and sons, James A. Robinson and Robert Newton Robinson, convey family news and frequently mention the Orange Observer as well as the Oxford, N.C., Torch-light and the Winston, N.C., Leader. The collection also contains penmanship copybooks, photographs, greeting cards, advertisements and miscellaneous printed material.
