N. C. Wyeth was a painter and illustrator; chiefly known for his illustrations of children's books and historical romances.
Scope and Content Information
The collection contains 44 illustrations by Wyeth for James Boyd's Drums . Pen and ink sketches on cardboard, ranging in size from 3 x 5 inches to 5 x 8 inches. Each sketch has a title in the lower left corner and a notation in which chapter it will be placed.
