Acquisition Information
Alan Cheuse of Fairfax, Virginia, placed his papers on loan to the Library on July 27, 1989. The papers were purchased by the Library on September 11, 2003.
Scope and Content Information
This additional Alan Cheuse material includes an electrostatic copy of the typed manuscript of his novel "Rabbi Guatemala" later published as The Grandmothers' Club (1986); an electostatic copy of the typescript for a short story "The Land of the Lost" (n.d.); an electrostatic copy of his short story "Accident" printed in Sandlapper (1981 March); and several publicity photographs, two of Alan Cheuse and one of the cover for The Grandmothers' Club .
