Scope and Content Information
In a letter, January 18, 1861, Kennedy writes from the United States Census Office, Washington, D. C. to Edward Jarvis, apologizing for his failure to reply to a letter due to the pressure of his census office work, and acknowledging receipt of some unidentified proceedings.
