The items in this collection were donated to the Greenwood Library Archives by Anne M. Field, a descendant of Lelia K. Corson, in 2015.


Biographical sketch

Lelia K. Corson from McRae, Virginia was a member of the inaugural class at the newly opened State Female Normal School in 1884. She received her diploma in 1887.

Scope and content

This collection dates from 1885-1887 and consists of an autograph book and a notebook containing literature and poetry notes.
